Installing conaito VoIP Standard SDK

ActiveX (.OCX)


conaito VoIP ActiveX (.OCX) is the best way to incorporate VoIP feature into your Delphi, Visual Basic or Visual Basic .NET applications. ActiveX should be registered first before using its exported methods.

For easy way to register, the ActiveX conaito ActiveX Register Tool (free) utility is used.
You can download this utility here: conaito Downloads

or you can register, the activeX ‘regsvr32’ utility is used. For example:

regsvr32 ConaitoStandard.ocx

For more detail, Sample Source Code for Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic 6.0 and Delphi 6.0 is provided with the conaito VoIP Standard SDK.


CABINET FILE (.CAB)

To incorporate the conaito VoIP controls into your web-based portal/service, conaito VoIP client-side downloadable component can be used.
conaito VoIP (.CAB) is a signed component by Microsoft Authenticode Certificate. So, you don’t need to purchase any certificate to incorporate it into your web pages.

LIBRARY (.LIB)

conaito VoIP Library (.LIB) file is the best way to incorporate conaito VoIP controls into your Visual C++ based application.

Reinstall conaito VoIP components or install newer versions

Please follow exactly the instructions:

1. unregister the older component files.
2. Delete the older component files.
3. UnInstall/remove the cabinet components from the IE settings (that’s really important!)
4. Download the SDK again, register the new OCX (can do with conaito Register Tool) and try it again.


Uninstall conaito VoIP components

Please follow exactly the instructions:

1. unregister the conaito component files.
   (

2. Delete the conaito component files.
3. UnInstall/remove the cabinet components from the IE settings (that’s really important!)
