Yes, this is no problem because of the integrated conaito "Hole Punching" technology in the conaito VoIP Enterprise SDK. But in the Standard and Extended versions there has to be a "Port Forwarding" furnished on the receiver site. On the calling site no more modifications are necessary, but it is important that the ports are not locked because of an administrator.

The conaito VoIP SDK uses the UDP protocol. Voice data and text messages are transferred over a network based on IP. UDP is used for the voice stream (similar to other protocols. e.g. RTP, RTCP etc.).
